I Learn From The BEST

It's true. Hands down, my mother is the best there is. She was able to stay with us this week after Payton arrived and made our lives so much easier with her here. Not only did she grocery shop each day, cook, clean, wash clothes, fold clothes, put away clothes, spoil her three grandchildren, sleep sitting up every night as Payton slept on her chest, create a rocket shaped Valentine box for LP, etc. etc., but she provided me company and support each day. I consider my mom my very best friend and having her here meant the world to me. She is a pro at motherhood, and is so encouraging to me about the mother that I am and am trying to be. I am serious when I say, I have learned (and am still learning) from the best. I thank God every day that I am Sherron Boyd's (Mimi's) daughter and pray that I can one day be half the mom to my kids that she was/is to us!

Thank you, Mom, for all you did for us this past week. I cannot imagine how tired you probably are. I promise to one day take care of my kids and grandchildren the way you have for us! You are always the perfect example of the mother and grandmother that I want to be. I love you and we are missing you like crazy!

Mimi, meet Payton!

These three can't get enough of their Mimi.Instant Buddies (I think a lot of bonding went on during the wee hours of the night!)

Mimi helped Landon create his rocket shaped Valentine box! He was so proud!

That is so sweet. I cant wait till we finally have some babies around this house. I know my mom will be exactly the same and I look forward to spending time with her just like that.
I love the picture of her and miss Payton. Too cute.

OH and how come we never had valentine boxes like that when we were in school. Way Cool

Getting choked up just thinking about if I could be half of what my mother is. So selfless! Love the Valentine's Day box. So thankful we have mothers that are active and still able to stay up all night!
