Wonderful, Wonderful Waco

We are home from a wonderful week/weekend in Waco. Aunt Ernie, Reid, Uncle Blake-o, Aunt Ash, Cooper and Holden all came into town for a visit before the school year begins and things get hectic again! We had such a great time catching up and just being together. The kids are all best buddies and it is so much fun seeing them together. Doc and Mimi continue to spoil us rotten and I am sure need a few days of rest when we all head home. Here are way too many pictures that capture the time we spent together.
I'll start off with my three little loves!

Cooper, Reagan and Landon practicing the joint cannon-ball!

Don't you just want to kiss on those cheeks? Holden slept while we all swam.

Aunt Alli and Uncle Kyle just got back from NYC. They brought all the kids t-shirts and this was our best attempt at getting a group photo. (Reid was napping and missed out on the picture! I think he got the better deal!)

Payton's head looks abnormally large in this picture, but I had to show a picture of the two babies together.

Cooper just turned 5, so we all celebrated with a party fit for a pirate!

The Boyd family (minus JD, Brad and Kyle). Brad and Kyle were able to join us later and we really missed Uncle JD. He had to hold down the fort back in California.

If you haven't ever had a cake from Simply Delicious, I highly recommend it for your next event! It was so yummy! Those tiny little pirate people were handmade with sugar icing.

an embarrassed 5-year-old getting ready to blow out his candles

What's a party without a pinata?

"Thank You" kisses from Cooper for his birthday gifts.

Aunt Shannon and the birthday boy

Last year Doc and Mimi bought all the older grandkids Romo jerseys. This year, Reid got to join the club!

Uncle Kyle getting some snuggle time with Payton. (one of his two favorite nieces!)

Uncle Brad and Coop playing some Leapster

This picture was taken at the Canyon Oaks Spa. My parents surprised us girls with a lunch and massage on Friday afternoon! WHAT A TREAT!!! I cannot tell you what it meant to us. It was such a fun surprise and so neat to have time with just the girls. Ashley was supposed to be there as well, but they had to head to Beaumont earlier than expected. We missed her so much!

And finally, I am sure you have noticed the beautiful surroundings in some of the pictures above. Doc and Mimi just had this incredible arbor built and we enjoyed it so much! It is going to get more use than they even realized. The kids spent so much time out there and when it cooled down a little....so did the adults!
