We spent a couple of days leading up to Christmas at Brad's parents' house. It is always a treat to be there and the kids had a ball getting to go to the movies, drive through the annual Grayson County Light Show and just spend time at their Pops' and Lucy's house. I left my camera at home, but captured these two sweet pictures on my phone.
I love the way Payton is looking at her Pops.

Their neighbors have a huge tree on their front porch. Pops always makes it a point to get the kids over to see it.

CHRISTMAS EVE...
Brad was sick with a stomach bug all night and into the day on Christmas Eve. We had already planned to head back home that day and bring Pops and Lucy with us. We wanted to be at the Christmas Eve service at church and then head home for our traditions with the kids. We decided it would be best for Pops to bring the kids and me back and let Brad and Lucy stay in Sherman until he felt better. Brad was able to bring Lucy to meet us at the service and then he began feeling much better as the evening went on. Thank goodness!
