Landon and Reagan had the full week off for Thanksgiving, so we were able to spend a little time with both families! Brad had to work until Wednesday afternoon, so the kids and I headed to Waco for a couple of days at the beginning of the week. I only took three pictures, but the two days we were there were packed with fun!
There were plenty of Uncle Kyle kisses!
We got to celebrate Aunt Alli's and Aunt Ernie's (minus Aunt Ernie!) birthday. Aunt Alli and Uncle Kyle are going to have their first baby in July! Aunt Ernie is going to have a baby boy in March! That's two new babies in the Boyd family! I cannot tell you how excited we are!
Doc always makes the birthday cake (aka....Henry). He is the only one that knows the recipe and I really don't think there is another cake in this world quite like it. D.E.L.I.S.H!
We got back from Waco on Tuesday evening and got ready to head to Sherman the next day to spend Thanksgiving with Brad's side of the family!
There was lots of fun cousin time!
Reagan, Brandt and Landon
Pops got lots of snuggles with Payton.
Brandt, Uncle Brad and Carson
Cousin Pile Up!
This girl was ready to get her turkey eatin' on!
Sweet Sisters! (I don't take many pictures of Payton these days where her tongue is not out!)
Kissing Cousins
just chillin' before we served lunch
Carson Tate turned three the day after Thanksgiving, so we all got to celebrate with him while we were in Sherman.
He wanted a Halloween party! The cookies were delicious!
I know the 5 things that topped Pops' and Lucy's thankful list!
Pops and Lucy and all five of their grandchildren
The Brown Boys and their families - Uncle Greg, Brandt, Aunt Kristie, Carson, Reagan, Landon, Aunt Shannon, Payton and Uncle Brad
The day after Thanksgiving, my alma mater, Midway High School, was playing at Cowboy's Stadium. We all went to cheer them on! Who knew how expensive it was to go to a game at that place. Absolutely ridiculous! $12 each to get in (EVEN FOR PAYTON!), $5 for M&M's, $10 for two cotton candies, $10 for two drinks.....YIKES! It's a good thing they lost, because we couldn't have afforded to continue to go watch them play!
My three babies waiting to get into the game.
Daddy and Reagan
That's the mascot, the MIDWAY PANTHER! I might or might not have been the Midway Panther for the 1995-96 school year. If I was, I didn't wear football pants and a jersey! I was a GIRL panther!
Speaking of might or might nots.....Daddy might or might not have put Pepsi in Payton's sippy cup. Nice.
And to close out our Thanksgiving week, we got our Christmas decorations out and up. Reagan is in charge of the angle on the tree! Thanks to a big lift from Daddy, she placed it perfectly at the top! LET THE CHRISTMAS SEASON BEGIN!

What a fun Thanksgiving! I love it when you are able to have enough time for both sides of the family and not feel rushed!
And how much fun was it to see Midway play at Cowboys stadium. They are pretty much big time now. And you defiantly made a much cuter panther! =)
So glad you got to see all the Brown family! And so fun you went to the Midway game - at least it was cheaper than normal to go there. Sheesh, that place it so pricey. Such a fun post.
Congrats to Allison! Where did u get the shirts for the girls!? Too cute!
And yes, I agree- you made a much better Panther :)
