Field Trip to the Dallas World Aquarium

I got the chance to chaperone Landon's field trip to the aquarium last Friday! We had such a great time and I love when I get to spend time one on one with my kids.

We attempted a self-portrait on the bus ride over to the aquarium.
turkey sandwiches before heading to look around
Mom (he won't call me mommy anymore!) and her favorite boy!
Some of the incredible animals we saw...
ANACONDA....This thing was HUGE and I didn't get close enough for a picture of the actual creature. Sorry!
Manatees always remind me of Mrs. Adamchek, my second grade teacher. I remember studying about them and how to keep them from becoming extinct!
Landon and the octopus
Nemo (sort of)
and his friend Dory
We were in the shark tunnel! So cool!
These were such strange fish (if they were even fish at all!). They looked like worms sticking up from the sand.
Landon and one of his best buddies, Colby. I have a ton more pictures of the rest of his classmates, but don't want to post them without their permission!
WE LOVE MISS JONES! I know I have said this time and time again, but she is the best thing that has happened to Landon this year! I am praying and praying that she doesn't leave this school before Reagan gets to second grade!

Landon,
I had such a great time with you on this outing. You are so much fun to be with and I loved having time to spend with you! You make me so proud to be your mom (not mommy!).
