The folks in North Texas have taken a beating this past week! We were hit with a huge ice storm (literally....thunder and buckets of ice falling from the sky...it was so strange!) on Monday night. Due to record low temperatures, we were out of school for the rest of the week because that ice NEVER melted. On Friday morning, we woke up to about 6 inches of snow and kids that were eager to finally get out of the house and have something to play in!
