Memorial Day Weekend 2012

The Memorial Day weekend has always been a fun weekend in our family.  Brad plays in a golf tournament in Sherman (on the course he grew up playing on!) so the kids and I usually stay at Pops' and Lucy's house.  Brad's brother, Greg, played in the tournament with him, which meant we got to hang out with him, Kristie and the boys one of the nights we were there.  Also, my sisters and their families were staying at the lake near Sherman, so we were able to spend time with them as well!  A weekend packed with family!  You can't beat that!

Erin's in-laws (JD's parents) have a lake cabin at Lake Texoma.  We have loved the couple of times we have been there to visit!  Thank you, Mama and Papa D for allowing us to spend time at your home away from home!
pool time!  (Reid with another funny face!)
I've said before that Riley is our only girl cousin (and my only niece) on both sides of the family.  This means that she gets LOTS of loving!  Payton is always kissing her.  If she lets out the littlest whimper, Payton is there with a kiss to make it all better.
Reagan and Riley
Reagan is so good with the babies!  She's a little mommy and wants to do anything she can for them!
WATER GUNS!!
These were a huge hit the entire weekend!
Cousin Lovin'
These two act more like siblings than cousins.  They fight like brother and sister and then are best friends the next minute.  I told Erin this weekend that I have a feeling they are going to be very, very close when they are older.  Reid will always be looking out for his PayPay.
Surfer Baby, Brewer!
Aunt Ernie took the kids on golf cart ride.
Is there anything sweeter than a daddy with his babies?
Brad with Payton and Kyle with Sam and Riley

On Sunday, Brad's brother and his family came to Pops' house to hang out with us!
Pops still has the kids old outside toys/bikes.  Brandt took LP's old tricycle for a little spin!
Aunt Kristie brought chalk!
The Brown Cousins
More time in the pool and playing with water guns!
Slip N Slide
(a very cheap one that I found at Target for $5!)

Cooking out and eating with Pops
Popsicles on the porch
We got back to Allen on Monday night.  My sisters and their kids stopped back through for the night!
Payton and Reid set up a tea party for everyone.  Even sweet Landon played along.
Happy Memorial Day 2012!
