Elizabeth Laine Hulme

My second niece, Elizabeth Laine Hulme came into the world on February 6th, Payton's 4th birthday!  It was such an awesome surprise to get a phone call in the middle of her birthday party to let me know that Allison was more than likely in labor and soon to head to the hospital.  We finished up celebrating at her party around 1:15.  I had driven home, packed my children and me for the trip, picked up my big kids from school and had hit the road all by 2:00.  I think I made it to Waco in about an hour and a half.  I did not want to miss the big moment when Lizzie made her way into the world!  We got there in plenty of time and what an incredible evening it was!  (All of these pictures were once again taken with my phone.  Sorry for the yucky quality!)

Payton was the first of the kids to hold her.  After all, it was her birthday, too!
You've never seen a 4-yr-old more excited!

Grouchy face while being burped after her first feeding!
Sisters!

(I like to pretend the Laine is all for me even though her Daddy's middle name is also Layne!  :-)
She's a natural.
This picture melts me.  Look at all the sweetness.
Snoozing
This is the video of Sam and Riley meeting Lizzie for the first time.
They weren't so sure about her, but have come around and love their baby sister, "Izzy!"
Alli texted me this picture once they got home.  Same and Riley were feeding their babies while Alli nursed Lizzie!
Their boppies were their little neck pillows.  Ha!

WELCOME TO THE WORLD, Lizzie Laine!
We love you so very much and cannot wait to watch you grow.
