Back in June, Brad had a business trip scheduled to Chicago. I was already tagging along, but one of Reagan's dear friends moved there this summer, which made Reagan want to join in on the fun! SO...her daddy bought another ticket for his favorite 8-yr-old girl, and off we all went! Reagan spent one night with us in the hotel and then she joined Sophia and her family for the remainder of the trip. It was my first trip to Chicago, and I must say, I loved the city! It is such a fun place to visit!

We stayed in the famous Drake hotel and the flowers were incredible! I loved the character and classiness of it all! |

| There were seats in the elevators! |
| Once we got checked in, we hit the streets for lunch and some shopping! |
Reagan found some shoes for school! Perfect for 3rd grade, don't you think? |
Chicago style pizza at its FINEST! Giordano's was amazing! Brad said it was more like pizza lasagna! |

| Fun evening with our cute girl |
| We stopped that night at the Hershey's store and made ourselves sick on the giant cookie sandwiches and chocolate milkshakes. |
| The next day, we met our dear friends, Tracy and Sophia, at Navy Pier. These two pictures were taken on the ferris wheel. For those of you that know me well, riding this thing was a true act of selflessness on my part. I HATE going over tall bridges, much less being suspended in a small, swinging box thousands of feet in the air. (OK...maybe not quite that high!) |

Sophia and Tracy convinced us we needed to ride the Seadog for a lake front tour. The last time they had done it, it was slow and steady and....DRY. |
| This time around was a completely different story! It was more of a SPEEDdog tour and with all the tight turns and rough waters, we were SOAKED by the end! I haven't laughed that hard in a really long time! We had not dressed to be wet (Tracy had on white pants!) and still had the day of sight seeing ahead of us! Needless to say, we chose an outdoor spot for lunch to dry off! |

| We of course had to make a stop in the American Girl store! |

It was such a great trip and I loved my time alone with this guy! So thankful for his job and that they allow me to go along on these awesome trips! |
