Let it Snow!

It has been a winter wonderland in Dallas for the past two days. Our total snowfall was around 9 inches! Just unbelievable! We have had more fun playing in it, coming in to throw cold, wet clothes in the dryer and then going back out again. I am so glad my kids will have this memory! I don't know if Dallas will ever see anything like it again.

We got home from school yesterday and started our snowman building!
Reagan named her snowgirl Princess Lainey. (Please forgive the hotdog for the the nose. This house was officially out of carrots!)
Landon named his snowman Tchaikovsky! (Are you impressed I know how to spell that? Had to Google it! He had just watched that dog movie, Beethovens 2nd.)
It's time for the first round of snow ice cream!
This morning we woke up to even more snow, no school and a daddy that got to stay home until late this morning!
Even Sweet P got to go out this time! Looks like I should have bought the matching gloves that went with the hat and sweatshirt. Didn't think I would ever use them. Sister's socks seemed to do the trick.
As you can see, Payton HATED every minute of her time in the snow.
Snow Angels!
Daddy and his snow bunnies
snowball fights
And to make our morning even more perfect, our breakfast consisted of more snow ice cream and cake balls! (Don't call CPS on me. I promise I did a little better with lunch!)
YUMMY!
Here's hoping we get one more romp in the snow, one more bowl of snow ice cream and a few more fires in the fireplace before it all melts away. What great memories we have made!

Looks like you guys had a great time! We have the same outfit and I could have let you borrow Kenzie's gloves because she didn't want anything to do with them:) She loved touching the snow.
You all make great snowmen!!
