I promised pictures of the big event and here they are! I am warning you. It is picture overload! We had such a wonderful time celebrating Payton's first birthday with our family. It was so laid back and I do believe fun was had by all.
Thanks to my friend Ashley, I was set with decorations (THANK YOU, ASHLEY!).
These are pictures of our sweet girl for every month since her birth! (including the day she was born)
Without any prompting from me, Landon and Reagan added decorations of their own! Landon wrote a story about a ladybug and Reagan drew her a picture. This was my favorite part of the decor!
We started off our day heading to Landon's basketball game. We had to dress P up in her sweet ladybug duds to go cheer him on!
You can't see it here, but big sister wanted in on the theme as well. Her shirt had a ladybug on it, too!
Once we were home, it was time for a little costume change. I know...ridiculous! She wanted NOTHING to do with the tutu. This was the best picture I could get!

Now that the tutu was off, she was ready for some presents! Landon gave her the crazy puppy you see in her lap and Reagan gave her a telephone.
Look at her sweet little face! Not sure she knew what to think about all of this!
It's Cake Time! I give you.....my very favorite birthday cake of all time! My friend, Christy Starling, made this cake and not only was it the cutest cake ever, but it was DELICIOUS! Thank you, Christy!
The ladybug on top came off and became Payton's smash cake!

I did alright capturing Payton at her party, but I did a horrible job of getting everyone there in pictures. So - I had them all pose for a quick shot after it was all over.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the pictures! It looks beautiful and so much fun! Payton is such a beautiful happy little girl! She is lucky to have a family like yours!
DARLING SHANNON!!!!! The party was precious as was Miss P. I LOVE that Landon and Reagan added to the decor and were so into their sister's b-day - too sweet! That cake was perfect and she may not have liked it but I loved her tutu ;)

Oh my gosh...how much fun was that! That tutu! I can't wait for that stuff! Even if it only lasts 30 seconds :) So cute! THE CAKE...HELLO! Amazing! Her outfits were my favorite part. She looks adorable. There's nothing like 1st birthdays. Its really for the joy of Mommy! Great pics!
