I'm One Proud Big Sister!

Many of you know that my little sister, Allison, is in the medical field and about to start her final year of residency in Waco. I am not exaggerating when I say that she is one of the smartest, hardest working people I know. I am obviously not the only one that feels this way, because, this past week she was chosen (by the doctors and other residents) as CHIEF RESIDENT! (For those Grey's Anatomy fans out there....that's Dr. Miranda Bailey folks!) I am so proud of her and if I could, I would shout it from the roof tops. Instead, I will have to make due by devoting one of my blog posts just to her....

I know this picture has nothing to do with medical school or becoming Chief, but I had to throw in a shot of her as an aunt. Her skills as my kids' aunt far outweigh her skills as an MD!

We are more proud of you than you will ever know! What an amazing accomplishment! I do have to say, I am not one bit surprised. You have always shown such amazing drive and worked your tail off to get where you are. You deserve every single bit of this honor! We love you more than we can even express and are so stinking proud of you!
