We headed to Waco this past week for FBC Woodway's Vacation Bible School. I grew up in that church and seeing my kids experience something that I loved as a kid just made me happy! We spent each morning at church and then each afternoon and evening with my family. What could be better? I apologize in advance for the picture overload!

If you remember from some previous posts, Reagan loves her some Sophie Watwood! Sophie joined us each day at VBS. We LOVED seeing her sweet face so much that week.

...but Jesus washes us clean!
Payton had a rough week being in a new place. I did catch her one day sitting with her class, somewhat content. As long as BeBe (her lovey) and Ba (her paci) are in hand and mouth, she is alright.
Doc and Mimi treated us to so many yummy meals. This one happened to be at Chewy's where they brought the kids push pops as a treat.
I have a confession. I am a Bahama Bucks addict. There is a new one close to my parents' house and the kids and I hit it up at least 5 times while we were there. I highly recommend the birthday cake snocone! YUMM-O!
The kids also spent a few hot afternoons in the blow-up pool!

One afternoon I was able to spend some time with some of my best friends. We all grew up together and it was so much fun to catch up with those I hadn't seen in a while!

All of our kids joined in on the fun. Our little tribe just keeps growing and growing!
Landon got to spend some time with Walker Pierce during the week at VBS. His mommy is a friend of mine from high school, and through blogging we have seen how much these two boys have in common. They hit it off and hopefully will get to spend some more time together this summer!

These two just make me smile. I have got to get a post up of how they have been buds since birth. Their mommies wouldn't have it any other way!

...we told them they had to go a week without seeing each other. Let's just say, I am sure everyone in Burger King (or within a two mile radius for that matter), probably heard the wails and sad good-byes when it was time to leave.

We are already looking forward to next summer when we will FOR SURE be back for another round of VBS. Meg and Mindy - thanks so much for letting my big kids be Sophie's and Walker's sidekicks all week! Lauren and Angie - thanks for letting me hang with you in the Missions room during VBS! I loved seeing your faces each day! Sign me up NOW to help you again next year! We miss all of you already!

Oh my word, the tears at the goodbye with Sophie are hilarious! Love that there are so many buddies back in Waco! Great to see you guys in that week of craziness.
oh my GOODNESS i am laughing my head off at the crying pictures of the girls!! i just KNOW one of them is going to win an academy award one day :). and by the way, the bahama buck birthday cake snow cone is my FAVORITE...their drive-thru calls my name ALL the time!! thanks again for all the ferrying the girls around you did. soph can't wait to do it all again next week!!
I have had such an extra skip in my step after last week. I LOVED seeing you and your family and just all of us being back in that church together. We have some strong ties there!!! We really, really do. Makes my heart happy!
PLUS...I love love love Walker and Landon's new friendship! Walker has asked if we could come to your house. I told him we most certainly could next time we are in your area. Fun, uh?!?

I am so glad you were my "big sister" in church. You, Ann & Julie meant more to me than you guys know! When I think of my time at Woodway- I automatically think of you three. Thanks for allowing me to have such great memories there!

I really got a kick out of Reagan trying to "pull it together." Oh the hard times as a young girl! So cute.

Well sweet friend, you are signed up for next year for sure!!! I am so glad we got to hang out all week and I got to witness your mad acting skill. (totally see where Regan gets the drama...:-)) I'm so glad your kiddos have made such sweet friends here in the Wac-my master plan of getting you and Caryn back here seems to be working beautifully:).
