Mr. Britton and Mrs. Michelle could write a book on how to spoil! How did we get so lucky to have them as our "adopted family?" They really are like part of our family and love my children like their own. (I know I have said this time and time again!)
They asked Brad and me if we minded them taking the two big kids for a fun night out. I am really not sure why they even ask anymore, because the answer is always, OF COURSE YOU CAN TAKE THEM! We weren't sure what they had up their sleeves. They ended up surprising the kids with a trip to Glen Rose to Fossil Rim and Dinosaur World. The kids were over the top excited and had the best time.
This was the first picture Mr. Britton sent me while they were there. It said..."We are having a blast (or something like that) and we let the kids jump on the beds!" They stayed in a hotel in Glen Rose, which is always so exciting for Landon and Reagan!

They went to the drive through safari. There is a funny video of this zebra poking his head through the window and trying to eat the glass!

Reagan and the zebra

After swimming in the hotel pool, they were too tired to pose for a picture.

All rested and ready for another fun filled day!

Dinosaur World!

I think it might have been a little hot out there!

I don't have pictures of the goodie bags they brought the kids for their road trip, or the souvenirs they brought home for Payton, Mommy and Daddy. (I bet you can only imagine the beautiful things that come from a dinosaur gift shop! Brad is proudly displaying a carving of a T-Rex's head in his office! I have a gorgeous purple heart necklace that matches Reagan's pink one!) We always give Mr. Britton and Mrs. Michelle a hard time because they very rarely tell my kids "no!" They assured us that this time they did because Landon and Reagan had their hearts set on a $600 dinosaur platter for our kitchen! THANK YOU, Mr. Britton and Mrs. Michelle for saying no and settling on what they brought home instead! :-) Once again, we love you so much and cannot thank you enough for loving us the way that you do! Our kids have no idea just how blessed they are to have you in their lives!

Pretty please can you display hat $600 dino platter in your kitchen? It totally matches your decor! Love that you have this sweet family in your lives. Want me one of those! We all need surrogate grandparents in our lives. Love that you look like Amarillo, black roots and all...hilarious!
I CANNOT wait to see that necklace :-). How awesome are those friends of yours---AWESOME! Look like they had a blast.
