Payton's birthday was celebrated in stages this year. We decided not to do a big party and make it as easy as possible. Being the 3rd child has its disadvantages, for sure! Poor girl has yet to have a party with her "friends!" Her big sister has made me promise that when she turns 3, we will celebrate with a big party, complete with all her friends! (You know, because she has so many at the age of 2!)
Her actual birthday fell on a Sunday, so we had a little birthday breakfast before church. One of her favorite things is powdered sugar donuts! (I did add a banana to this healthy breakfast after the picture was taken!)

Bedhead at its finest!
We went to lunch with Mr. Britton and Mrs. Michelle after church. They brought cupcakes and candles so we could sing to the birthday girl!
When we got home, Landon and Reagan wanted Payton to open their gift!
A new baby and some bottles!
That night, we had some friends over for the Super Bowl! Sweet Angie brought a cookie cake for Blake (Her birthday is the day before Payton's!) and Payton to share! YUMM-O!

I included this picture because it cracks me up!
Megan, Reagan and Abbie being so patriotic, singing the National Anthem before the game began (in their pajamas!)
Our families came down the following weekend to celebrate our big 2-year-old! Remember me telling you we had a very laid back party? I mean, seriously, I didn't buy/make a single decoration (other than plates, napkins, balloons and a plastic banner!!) Reagan asked me a while back if she could be the one to decorate. Sweet girl worked so hard on these Minnie Mouse pictures (and others...I just didn't include all the pictures!) and had them up all over the house!

The birthday girl was ready for her party!
(In all honesty, she had a yucky cold and was pretty much a grouch most of the day.)

Presents!
The second she saw the dress-up clothes in the sacks, she began disrobing to put them on!

A Minnie Mouse costume from Mr. Britton and Mrs. Michelle!
Perfect for the Minnie Mouse party!

She's ready for summer in her new swimsuit!

Sweet Sisters!
This might be my favorite picture from the party!
It's Minnie Mouse!

Landon loved having his picture taken with Minnie!
I even made Aunt Alli and the twins get in on the Minnie action. Is she not the cutest pregnant girl you've ever seen?

Payton was in a lovely mood for a large part of the day. No one tell her that her Mimi was mimicking her in this picture!

Uncle Kyle can always bring a smile with the way he plays with the kids!
Payton LOVES him!

Aunt Alli and Uncle Kyle with Reagan and Payton
Such a sweet picture!

IT'S CAKE TIME!
Mrs. Christy really is the most talented cake lady I know! It tasted just as good as it looked!
Looking so sweet as everyone sings to her

Blow out the candles!

Cheese! This was taken after dinner that night and after round number 2 of cake.
We had so much fun celebrating our sweet girl! Year #3...Here We Come!

Sweet post for a sweet baby girl. I love the last picture of her with her pig tails. So Cute!
Love the coloring pages of Minnie! She doesn't know the difference 0 the child is hardly lacking in the love category. Love all the fun details, and my favorite being the one with a mocking Mimi....
Minnie Mouse she is! Payton is just adorable. Happy Birthday to her!
