It is tradition for our family to spend Memorial Day in Sherman. Brad has played in a golf tournament there for many years and the kids and I usually spend a day or two there as well.
Pops took us on a little Memorial Day field trip to the new Eisenhower Monument in Denison, right outside of Sherman.
There are bricks on the walkways with names of Veterans and the years they served. Landon and Reagan are pointing to their great-grandfathers' names. We are thankful for them and the sacrifice they made for our family!
All of these flags have flown at the White House!
Then it was back home to enjoy hanging out and yummy food at the
40th Annual Brown Memorial Day Cookout!
