SO LONG KIDNEY REFLUX!

For those of you that know us well, know that Payton has had kidney reflux since she was a baby. Basically, her bladder wouldn't flush all her tee-tee down and out, but would send some up into her kidneys causing infections and such. (I hope the doctors in my family that are reading this are not laughing hysterically at my explanation!) Payton has gone through a bunch of yucky testing and many not-so-pleasant procedures in her day, and that has just NOT.BEEN.FUN. She has also been on a daily antibiotic since she was first diagnosed. WELL...we went for our yearly testing and guess what? SHE HAS OUTGROWN IT!!!
Praise Jesus!!! We are thrilled and so thankful for her health. I know in the big scheme of things, kidney reflux isn't a huge deal and many other families deal with much, much worse. This has simply been more of a nuisance than anything. We are so very thankful for the outcome and thankful it is officially behind us!

I did manage to take a few pictures of the morning with my phone.
Here's my Sweet P playing after her sonogram and before they called her back for the VCUG. (This is the test that they have to put her to sleep and run dye into her bladder to see if it flushes up into her kidneys.) She stayed busy ironing her raincoat!
I am more than thrilled to hopefully never have to see this room again! This was where they did all the testing. Yuck!
Precious Baby still out from the anesthesia! It didn't take long and she was awake and ready to GO HOME!

Thank you, God, for this answer to our prayers!

Poor Sweet P, I'm glad that she is doing better. Nothing worse than seeing your baby go through something you can't do anything about.:(
