Slowly but surely, I am catching up to the present. Easter weekend fell a couple of weekends after we moved into our new house. So, we decided it would be
completely crazy such a fun idea to have 20 people come for Easter weekend! My parents, my brother's family and my two sisters and their families....wowzers! If you add all of those people and my family of 5 up, that's 20 people, folks! The weekend turned out to be nothing but wonderful. We loved having everyone here and spent a majority of the time outdoors! (All of our children are looking a little rough in most of these pictures. We do bathe them and they do own cute, clean clothes! We just sort of went with the motto "Clean clothes (or even wearing them), are optional!")

| Pizza on the porch! |
Soaking in the hot tub!
| Time to hunt some eggs! Sam found one! |
| Riley on the hunt! |
GOLDEN EGGS!
These eggs always have money inside! Each kid knows to look for one! |
| Brewer went with the "clothes are optional" part of the weekend motto. |
| Reagan and Riley |
| Two peas in a pod. These two will always be big buddies! |
| A little ketchup and some sweet tarts! |
No time to waste. Time to eat what they found in the eggs!
I love the sweats on some and bathing suits on others! |
COUSINS! All 10 of them!
Reid, Lizzie, Reagan, Landon, Sam, Cooper, Brewer,
Holden, Riley and Payton |
| This is much more like it! |
I don't have pictures of our family heading out to the Easter Sunday service like I usually do. We changed things up a bit this year and went to the casual Saturday night service. I didn't spend weeks before planning out and searching for the perfect matching ensemble for my kids to wear. I didn't stress about what I was wearing. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE dressing my kids up and taking all kinds of pictures on Easter Sunday morning. There will more than likely be more Easter Sundays like that in the future. Just not this year! We all wore jeans and it was exactly how it is supposed to be. I was focused on celebrating the resurrection of Jesus and not on my kids being one of the best dressed in the children's building that week. A very nice change and one that I would love to see stick around.
Happy VERY BELATED Easter to you all!
