Happy 9th Birthday, LP!

Landon turned 9 on April 15th.  Wow.  As Brad reminded me, that's half way to heading off to college.  Ouch.  The years have flown by and each year I become more and more amazed and proud of this boy that I have the privilege of raising!  He has the most gentle, kind spirit about him, but also keeps us laughing at the same time.  He is his father's son!  (I wouldn't have it any other way!)  For his birthday this year, he had very specific instructions.  He wanted 5 friends (one couldn't come), Dad to rent a baseball field (or go up to the school and use a free one!), time playing Wii games and The Bomb for his dessert.  This mama was loving it!  No decorations. No planning.  Boys are so easy!

The Bomb (chocolate/peanut butter ice cream heaven!)
LP's very favorite dessert

We also got to celebrate with Brandt and Carson!  I love how much my children love to be with their cousins.  It truly is such a blessing to be in the same town.
Daddy got to be the Watch Dog at school the week of Landon's birthday.  The kids look forward to their birthdays each year for this very reason!  Daddy gets to spend the day at school!  WhooHoo!

And just for your viewing pleasure...
Where did this tiny boy go?
Happy 9th Birthday, Landon!  We love you with all of our hearts!
